Library

The Beachburg Branch of the Whitewater Region Public Library operates within the Beachburg Public School building.  This is advantageous to our school since the library is continually stocked with up-to-date resources.  We are very fortunate to have knowledgeable librarian, Laurie Patterson. The Public Library operates on the following schedule:

Public Library Hours

Tues 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thurs  6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Sat     9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

School Library Use

Other than Tuesdays, when the library is open to the public, staff and students may visit the library throughout the school day. Each grade visits the library about once a week with their teacher to access learning materials and to sign out books using the bar code scanner and computer system.

Students are encouraged to keep library books in good condition (no scribbling or doodling) and to return books on time. We need to work together on caring for our library resources so all students can benefit from them.

Students are expected to financially compensate the school for the loss or damage to any library books.
